1993 Factory Original Nissan 180SX

After many request we were just able to get our hands on an all original 1993 Nissan 180SX. With only 121K this particular vehicle has been very well maintained judging by just how clean of shape it’s in. The exterior has been kept nearly all factory with simply an upgraded Type X wing on the hatch. The White Pearl paint shows quite well for it’s age however does have some normal wear. Most notably the top of the rear bumper has a bit of discoloration to it. The body is particularly clean with no severe dents or dings which are common with doors this long. The same can be said about the roof as this is the more desirable sunroof free model.

The interior reflects just as well as the exterior with only minor changes from factory. That change being the addition of a superb Recaro Speed driver seat trimmed in vinyl and a particularly rare pattern. The passenger and rear seats are the factory originals and have also been well maintained. The passenger side bolster does show a little wear but is free of any major rips/tears/stains. For that fact the same can be said about the rest of the interior: down to the original shifter and boot. The infamous dash crack is present, but at this point it’s to be expected with nearly any S chassis. It also still has the original radio with tape deck so music is an option if you choose to keep the OEM appearance. Even the automatic climate control functions as it should and has cold A/C.

Equipped with one of the most popular JDM motors, the SR20DET coupled to a 5 speed manual. The perfect setup for drifters, auto cross, and those after a quick daily driver. With the aftermarket support that the S chassis has this car makes for the perfect black canvas to build you dream car from. The 2.0 Liter fires right up and idles quietly though the stock exhaust. The factory suspension provides a surprisingly smoothly ride for a proper front engine rear wheel drive sports coupe. The clutch has a very easy engagement and runs through the gears with ease. The SR pulls strong from idle and has killer midrange power on the highway. If you’re looking for your next proper build or just after an extremely hard to find (clean that is) 180SX then look no further.
