How we will interact with our vehicles in the near future?
Design Master, level 1

I’ve never imagined myself working on a project about cars before. Yet this idea appealed to me since this would develop new possibilities to express my creativity through Graphic and Information Design.
Engin Hassamanci and James Thompson, both industrial designers, worked on the interior design of a concept car, whereas I worked on the graphic interfaces on the dashboard. The big challenge was to keep it clean and clear but innovative and appealing. What kind of information would these interfaces provide to the driver? What kind of experience would create for him/her?
An easy to read odometer; a car playing music depending on the driver mood while recommending places to go according to his/her own interests; a car constantly providing advices for a sustainable driving; road friends’ networking… These are just some examples of the spirit of my proposal. It is all about enhancing the driver experience.
I realized a movie that aims to present these ideas and show how would the graphic interfaces look and work inside this car. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it!
