First thing I did to the car was slam it on some vmaxx coils. I bought it in last July when I saw it parked at and Advanced auto. Right away I put my getta up for sale and got it. The car already had the gt3071 but not really any supporting mods or engine work. So right away I pulled the motor and had parts coming in weekly. I wanted to have a solid engine to go with the big turbo so I could start turning up the hp. So after about 3 months and the motor being completely rebuild by schimmel performance with forged internals it was back together and ready to go. While it was being worked on I picked up some merc wheels and new rubber. My goal was to build a clean looking 350 to 400 awhp daily. Future plans are mainly looks now that it’s running great. New wheels and some body works here and there. My motivation was to do things different than I did with my Jetta. With the mk4 I went for all looks first where as with the b5 I wanted a race car. So that’s what really motivated me because my Jetta was mainly stock. Shout out to bill schimmel for the rebuild.
